H-Street Skateboard Deck Ron Allen Original Shackle Me Not 9.25" x 32" Silver Metallic
The Ron Allen Original “Shackle Me Not” graphic was one of the first H-Street Pro Model decks ever made. The graphic was drawn by legendary H-Street Am and artist Jeff Klindt, who was also from up north.
Ron was good friends with both Jeff and Mike Ternasky and later, became good friends with T-Mag and what would eventually become the H-Street crew. The graphic was re-drawn by T-Mag in 2018, using some photos and original boards and is made at Watson Lam and hand silk screened, just like they were in the 80’s. Avid H-Street collector Robert @vaskateboards had one of the best originals and helped us out with detailed photos.
Back in the day, there were different versions of both shapes and graphics and while we re-issued a couple of different version of Ron’s Shackle Me Not board, this is the first time it is re-issued in its original form with the padded wall behind it and kind of a pattern on the ground.
The shape is slightly updated so that it rides better in more modern Park&Pool environments and is built on the Supreme Concave technology; the ultimate design to ride any park, pool or ramp. The Supreme concave features a seamless and elliptical concave curve across the body of the board and a dual radius curved tail with a fair amount of concave. The dual radius in combination of the concave tail forms a pocket for your back foot that is unbelievably comfortable and secure.
The construction is the updated and standard 4-3 layup, that features a good mix between thin, light and stiff and this board rides really well for most weights.
It’s made in California at Watson Lam and constructed with high quality maple wood and available in a variety of natural, stained and full dips with the best silk screen job that could be had anywhere. There is only 50 made in the A Series of the Ron Allen Original Shackle Me Not and it’s laser marked as such, including the series number.
